Go Fund UK’s commendable efforts in organizing three eye camps at Narwala Banglow, a place situated in the Gojra vicinity, have made a significant impact on the lives of the underprivileged. These camps, held in October 2021, March 2022, and November 2022, have been pivotal in providing vital eye care services free of cost to those in need. The all three camps catered to around 2000 patients and their attendants. The organization went above and beyond, provided food and accommodation to patients and attendants, who stayed with their patients and whose operations were conducted late at night or who couldn’t go to their homes for next day necessary visit to the camps for operation, ensuring they had a safe and comfortable environment during their time of need.
In first camp total 96 patients’ operations were performed free of cost. In the subsequent two camps, the spirit of compassion persisted as Go Fund UK continued to transform lives. In the second camp, approximately 70 operations were performed, and over 280 individuals were provided with free eye sight glasses, granting them the gift of improved vision. The impact of their benevolence reached even greater heights in the third camp, where a total of 113 operations were conducted, and over 300 pairs of glasses were distributed to patients with poor eyesight. These acts of kindness and comprehensive care have not only restored the sense of sight but also instilled hope and gratitude in the hearts of the beneficiaries, fostering a sense of community support and well-being.
