HOW THE CHARITY SPENDS ITS MONEY

The relief of sickness and the protection and prevention of health by providing and assisting in the provision of treatment for those who are blind or otherwise suffering from eye related problems and by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities and equipment for eye care, for the benefit of the poor people living in Gojra, District Toba Tek Singh, Punjab, Pakistan.

 

SIGHT BREAKS POVERTY

Obviously, blindness and low and poor sightedness can make people poor, resulting in pushing them toward poverty. Giving people access to proper treatment for restoring their sight and for preventing blindness enables them to get back to their lives to support their families and contribute to their communities as well as to be out of financial hazards.

Go Fund UK’s unwavering dedication to this noble cause is evident in their commitment to continue these charitable activities in the future

The steps Go Fund UK follow for organizing camps:

  • Banners, containing venue, dates and timings, are displayed at conspicuous places here camp to be organized. Brochures are also distributed in villages and adjacent population. Further also announced from local community centers specifically from mosques in advance to maximize awareness.
  • Through comprehensive screening, individuals in need of glasses, medication, surgery, or further medical attention are identified.
  • Those qualifying for surgery and in good health undergo additional tests for Diabetes, Blood Pressure, HIV, and Hepatitis B & C.
  • Patients undergoing surgery are provided with lodging and meals during their stay at camp site.
  • On the subsequent day, post-surgery check-ups are performed, including the removal of bandages. If all is well, patients are discharged to return home.
  • After one week, a follow-up camp is arranged to monitor recovery progress and ensure complete restoration of eyesight under the care of our skilled surgeons.
